PETERBOROUGH – Superintendent Kimberly Rizzo Saunders and Principal Heather McKillop are pleased to share that ConVal Regional High School’s librarian was honored as the librarian of the year by the New Hampshire School Library Media Association (NHSLMA).

Rachael Bowman was recognized Saturday, June 4, at the NH Excellence in Education Awards – also known as the EDies – in Concord.

Bowman was recognized for her ongoing excellence in school librarianship, and was given the top honor among several NHSLMA presents on a local, regional and statewide basis. Bowman has been a leader both at the ConVal High School library and in the school library community, working directly with her colleagues to physically and culturally transform ConVal High School’s library.

She serves on the school’s library and technology team and has previously served as chair of NHSLMA’s Awards and Scholarships Committee, which works to celebrate school librarians and library media paraprofessionals.
