PETERBOROUGH — The Contoocook Valley, Jaffrey-Rindge Cooperative and Mascenic School Districts are pleased to announce that the Region 14 Applied Technology Center (ATC) will host an open house as a part of Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month.

WHEN

Saturday, Feb. 12

WHERE

Region 14 Applied Technology Center, 184 Hancock Road, Peterborough

WHAT

At the open house, visitors will have the chance to explore the ATC and meet program faculty, try out industry-current equipment and speak with current CTE students.

The open house celebrates CTE Month, which takes place annually in February. The goal of CTE Month is to raise awareness of the value of CTE, including its role in preparing students for college and their future careers.

“The ATC has so many wonderful programs, and this open house serves as an opportunity for students to envision themselves in this environment and learn more about CTE,” ATC Director Jennifer Kiley said. “We encourage any student interested in CTE to join us at the open house to see all that the ATC has to offer.”

In addition to the open house, students from the three districts will take class field trips to the ATC throughout February.

The ATC provides career and technical education opportunities in a variety of fields, including audio-visual arts, automotive services, business, computer programming and networking, construction, engineering, firefighting, manufacturing, teacher education and web design.
