Greetings ConVal Community;
BACKGROUND
Your ConVal School Board and Administration are pleased to be starting on organizing our plans for our next ConVal Community Forum. We are planning to hold this forum on Thursday, November 10th from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. This will be our forth Community Forum and we are hoping to build upon the success of the previous three Forums.
As with the previous Community Forums we will have important topic presentations followed by questions and answers from our community. Both in-house viewing and streaming viewing will be available with questions being taken from both audiences.
The first important topic we will be presenting is the remodeling of our high school, Applied Technology Center (ATC) and our two middle schools. As with the Strategic Plan presentation we will also be looking for community participation in this needed activity.
The second important topic we will be presenting will be on the ConVal new Strategic Plan. This plan is very comprehensive and affects our educational environment/practices/goals and physical plant needs. This is a 5 year strategic plan and we will be looking for public comments in its writing and participation in its execution.
CHANGES BEING CONSIDERED FOR THIS FORUM
There are two changes we are considering in this forum. The first is, should we provide for childcare for the community members who will be attending as in-house audience. The second is, should we provide for a “meet and greet” get together, with refreshments, at the end of the forum for the community to informally meet with School Board Representatives and Administration?
