GREENFIELD — Superintendent Kimberly Rizzo Saunders and Principal Shawne Hilliard are pleased to share that Greenfield Elementary Kindergarteners and first graders celebrated 100 days of school.

On Feb. 7, students participated in activities to celebrate 100 days of learning at Greenfield Elementary.

Activities included decorating t-shirts and hats, counting out 100 beads in groups of 10, and reading 100 words.

Students also worked on “grow and glow” activities to celebrate their learning by using glow sticks and other items to create patterns, practice reading, and have fun with creativity.

“It was wonderful to see students engaged and excited about their learning as they celebrated 100 days of school,” said Principal Hilliard. “Ms. Jessica Harrington and Mrs. Leslie Hodgen did a wonderful job planning these activities which helped students celebrate their learning with their peers. It is important to recognize these milestones with students as these activities provide the foundation for learning through their educational careers and we at Greenfield Elementary are thrilled to be a part of the experience.”
