Superintendent Kimberly Rizzo Saunders and Principal Timothy Iwanowicz are pleased to share that Temple Elementary School recently received a donation from Lamy’s Black Belt Academy.

Academy owners Amy and Paul Lamy worked with their members to collect and distribute backpacks filled with school supplies to schools throughout the Monadnock Region. The Lamy’s feel a deep connection to their community and took this opportunity to reinforce to their martial arts clients their sense of commitment to schools and children.

The Lamys delivered a backpack filled with notebooks, pencils, markers, and binders to TES on Thursday, Sept. 7.

The backpack will be given to a student, while its contents will be distributed to students who may not have everything they need to start the school year.

“A huge thanks to Amy and Paul and all of their members at Lamy’s Black Belt Academy for their generosity,” said Principal Iwanowicz. “All of us at TES are very grateful to be on the receiving end of their kindness.”
